Getting Exclusive, Related PR3-4 Links For Your New SEO Client

Setting It Up So It Doesn't Get Banned

High Quality Domain Set Up

At this point, you have a PR3-4 domain with nothing on it. The easiest and fastest way to get the site up and running is to install WordPress on it.

Set up a simple WordPress installation and make sure you do a good job of setting it up.

This part is CRUCIAL.

Do it WRONG and you’re a spam blog or seen as a blog farm.
Do it RIGHT and you’re a related sister site on the same topic.

1. Install a decent looking template (not too much text, and remove any credit links… we want all the link juice going to our client’s site)
2. Un-check the “email me whenever there’s a comment”… because you’re likely to receive hundreds of spam emails if you leave this checked. Alternatively you can install Askimet but you’ll still get some.
3. Make sure you set up some related categories and add some author names.
4. Add a related logo, add a contact page, about page, privacy policy, etc.
5. Remove all extra links (like archives, meta, etc), we don’t want to dilute the juice.
6. Last, but not least, make the main blog title related to your client’s site.

Now I only mentioned some quick steps to setting up a high quality site… if you want to know how to set the ABSOLUTE highest quality site that will never get penalized by Panda, then you need to go over my Panda Breakthrough course. (Where I show SEO professionals a repeatable method for getting OUT of Panda and of course… in the process you learn what makes a high-quality, Panda proof site. I purposely omitted a lot of quality factors SEO Depot… since I figure people would just copy it if I did.)

Creating the in-context related links

After you’re done setting up the site, you’re ready to start creating your own high quality links. But before we start…know that the quality of the content is important.

Do not spin articles onto the site or you’re wasting your domain purchase investment.

Instead, get your writer to write 3-5 related articles all on the same topic as your client’s site. Use his keywords as topic ideas.

For example: If his keyword is “baking cupcakes”, then your article title should be along the lines of “My Best Cupcake Baking Tips”

Make the article at least 400 words (more is ideal) and inside the article, include ONE link back to your customer’s site with the exact anchor text.

Do this with 5 of his top keywords and you’ll have 5 articles. The trick is to have high quality articles. Have pictures, headlines, sub-headlines, etc.

At this point you should have some incredibly high quality, in-context links pointing back to customer’s site. I’ll be honest… these WILL be enough to make a difference in rankings and you can actually call it a day right now.

In fact, at this point, you can call it a month and your customer will see gradual increases in his keyword rankings in the upcoming days/weeks.

But we’re pros for a reason, right?
