Results & Leveraging Your Links
Leveraging the site for more links
Once you have the site properly set up and you have high quality links pointing back to your site, it’s time to start contacting your competition.

“Hey, I’d like to give you a high quality, related, in-context link from PR4 sister site in exchange for one link from your site to main customer site.”
Usually if you contact competition with PR2-3 websites, they’ll jump at the chance of having a related PR4 link. It’s one way linking so everyone wins!
Now your client has some amazing link diversity and high page rank links from related sites.
“But Eric, what if I email competing webmasters and they report my site as a blog farm?”
Hah, well the trick (and this is why you’re getting paid the big bucks) is to NOT make it look like a blog farm. So EVEN if a Google employee visits your sister site… they can’t ban it.
Your links should be in context and there should be a valid reason for the link.
If it’s a high quality, on-topic, related site… then you have absolutely to worry. The Google “Long Winter Update” won’t hurt you, you won’t get any “suspicious links” in your webmaster tools.
You’re in the clear and best of all, it’s not even on the same domain as your client’s site so they can’t trace it back to him.
The Results and What You Can Charge
If you have a new client, then that work should be enough to make him rise drastically through the ranks for his keywords. Sure, you only built one link per keyword… but one PR4 link is worth more than 1000 PR0 links.
If you add all the incoming links from the competition, then you might actually have in-context PR4 links, PR3 links, PR2 links… all pointing back to his site.
Personally, I prefer not to mass-ping the site and let Google discover it on it’s own. Usually Google is very happy to fresh new content on a domain (if it expired, then there likely wasn’t an update for a long time) and you’ll get a nice boost when it finds it.
This natural discovery will mean that your client’s site will slowly rise in rankings for the next month and a half.
On the low end: I’d charge $400 + cost of the domain ($302 profit for ~6 hours work)
On the high end: I’d charge $2000 and not mention the cost of the domain ($1702 profit for ~6 hours work assuming you paid $200 for the domain and $98 for one month of Freshdrop)
Now I’m curious… Let me know what you think of this strategy in the comments. What about the prices? The format of the article? The content? Let me know down below.
Make sure you sign up for the newsletter because it will make you a lot of money (Seriously, if you want to double or even triple your SEO income, then sign up. Get in while it’s still “underground”)
Speaking of being underground, spread the word by clicking those “Like”, Tweet and share buttons. I know you probably have a crazy social media account with 100000 followers, it’s time to show it off.
